Job summary

St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for its fast-paced Diagnostic Radiology Department. The role involves fluoroscopy, general X-ray, and related radiologic procedures with emphasis on patient communication, accuracy, and safety.

Responsibilities include positioning, imaging, collaboration with radiologists, and proper documentation. Schedule features a 2nd shift (10:30 am – 3:30 pm) with rotating weekends and one call shift per week, plus a sign-on bonus

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Radiographer license required
• ARRT RT registration required
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Explains procedures, gathers history, and addresses patient questions.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors with radiation safety.
• Identifies and labels images, ensures exam accuracy, and documents billing codes.
• Interacts with radiologists and supports image processing and system documentation.
