Job summary

Advocate Health’s Radiology Department in Wisconsin is seeking a Radiology Technologist for third shift (7pm–7:30am), 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures, patient communication, positioning, image labeling and collaboration with Radiologists. Requires Wisconsin radiographer license, ARRT RT, and BLS within 6 months.

A strong commitment to safety and accuracy is essential. Cross-training in CT is possible if no CT experience.

Qualifications

• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (RT) credential.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy.
• Explain procedures, obtain history, and address patient questions.
• Position patients and select exposure factors with radiation safety.
• Identify patients and ensure accurate exam documentation and billing.
• Assist Radiologists and document imaging in the RIS.
• Handle patient transport and comply with age-specific care.
