St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team. You will perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures, communicate with patients, and ensure high image quality while following safety protocols.

Licensure as a Wisconsin Radiographer, ARRT RT registration, and BLS for Healthcare Providers are required within 6 months. This full-time role offers a first‑shift schedule with weekend rotation and opportunity for growth

Qualifications

• Wisconsin radiographer license is required.
• ARRT RT registration is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain clinical history, and confirm understanding.
• Position patients and set exposure factors, ensuring radiation safety and protection.
• Identify patient and label images; verify requisitions and ensure exam accuracy.
• Assist radiologists and maintain records; enter data into RIS and code procedures for billing.
• Perform patient handling tasks including lifting and transporting as needed, with attention to safety.
