Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Burlington to perform radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopic exams, and to work closely with Radiologists. You will position patients, select exposure factors, and protect patients from radiation while ensuring exam accuracy.

No prior experience is required for this role; advanced training and ARRT RT licensure are essential, along with BLS certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology program completion or equivalent
• Wisconsin Radiographer license and ARRT RT registration; BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 6 months
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Ability to work independently and handle radiology equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging procedures

Responsabilités

• Perform basic to intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams
• Position patients and select exposure factors; ensure patient radiation protection
• Identify patient and label images; verify requisitions and physician orders
• Prepare and maintain records; enter data into the radiology information system and document billing codes
• Assist, communicate and consult with Radiologists
• Follow department policies and procedures; ensure safety and quality of radiographs
