Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Part-time Radiology Technologist with CT capabilities to perform X-ray and CT procedures, verify orders with radiologists, and ensure patient safety. You will prepare patients, document procedures, and collaborate with physicians for optimal imaging quality.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification, BLS, and 2-year radiologic technology training. You will work in a fast-paced environment with strict radiation safety standards and rotating shifts as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB is required; CT advanced registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Examines requests and verifies orders with Radiologist before exam.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patients for the procedure.
• Interviews patients and reviews EMRs to obtain medical history and pertinent data.
• Assists in CT scanning and invasive procedures under Radiologist/PA supervision.
• Maintains radiation safety and follows department protocols.
