Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA-approved radiologic/nuclear medicine program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and BLS required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before exam and refer discrepancies.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review EMRs for history and document on requisitions.
• Perform CT scans and assist radiologist; maintain sterile technique.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol; record type and amount.
• Operate radiology computer systems; document contrast in MAR.
• Provide basic patient care and participate in code blue when needed.
• Rotate shifts; adhere to attendance policy and schedule.
• Maintain clean, stocked work area and assist anesthesia when needed.
