Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT‑recognized Radiologic Technology program completion is required.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS is required.
• Knowledge of growth and development principles and patient population needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history for procedures on physician requisition.
• Confirms patient identity before procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologists and physicians as needed.
• Operates equipment and demonstrates proper positioning for procedures.
• Maintains records as required by department standards.
