Qualifications

• Six years healthcare, clinical, or administrative experience/education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree plus two or more years in healthcare, clinical, or administrative roles.
• Familiarity with clinic medical billing practices including coding, billing systems and documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of ambulatory care clinic practice management including patient care workflows and processes.
• Strong communication skills; includes verbal, written and active listening.
• Interpersonal skills with diverse staff and patients; ability to build relationships within clinical team.
• Proven organizational skills; ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software; data management skills.
• Data analysis, research, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle scheduling and preparation including insurance verification and record collection for referrals to Radiation Oncology.
• Maintain databases for reporting and scheduling; mentor team members in the department.
