Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on requirements development, system integration, and performance analysis across the lifecycle, with travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and local Navy facilities.

An active Secret Clearance is required, along with U.S. citizenship. Minimum BS/BA in a STEM field (ABET-accredited engineering program or related fields) is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or closely related field.
• Experience supporting systems engineering activities including requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
• Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements, interface documentation, and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems, sensor technologies, or complex defense systems preferred.
• Experience using models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning and executing system testing and analyzing performance data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
