Job summary
SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on requirements development, systems integration, performance analysis, and model-based engineering across the full lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years in systems engineering, experience with radar systems or complex defense programs, and proficiency with MATLAB for testing and analysis. Occasional travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and other sites is expected.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
- Experience developing and managing system requirements, specifications and interfaces.
- Familiarity with MBSE and engineering models to assess performance.
- Experience with government/military systems and lifecycle testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
- Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
- Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
