Job summary
SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on requirements, design verification, integration, and performance analysis across the system lifecycle.
Active Secret clearance is required; travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and Navy facilities may occur, with up to five trips annually. A BS/BA in a STEM field (ABET-accredited) is required, along with experience in MBSE and MATLAB-based testing.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and related activities.
- Experience developing and maintaining system requirements, interface docs, and baselines with traceability.
- Experience with radar systems or Navy combat systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
- Support architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Model, simulate, and analyze system performance.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and testing.
- Develop test plans and analyze results using MATLAB and lab tools.
