Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. in the United States seeks a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering for the U.S. Navy. You will develop requirements, perform verification, and conduct modeling and integration across the system lifecycle.

This role requires collaboration with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams, with travel to support testing. An active Secret clearance is required and candidates should be US citizens.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
• Develop, manage, and trace system requirements, specs, and engineering baselines.
• Experience with radar systems or Navy combat systems preferred.
• Familiarity with MBSE processes and tools.
• Ability to coordinate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
