Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on systems engineering, radar performance, signal processing, and integration across the lifecycle. Travel to NJ, VA locations is required, with up to five trips per year.

An active Secret Clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship is necessary. A BS/BA in a STEM field with ABET-accredited engineering curriculum is expected, along with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities (requirements, spec management, integration, verification).
• Experience with radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy systems preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain system requirements, interfaces, and baselines with traceability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specs, and interface docs.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing.
• Develop test plans and analyze performance using MATLAB.
