SimVentions in Virginia's Arlington area is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar development for the U.S. Navy. This technical role focuses on requirements development, integration, modeling, and verification across the system lifecycle.

Active Secret Clearance is required. Travel to Moorestown, NJ and Wallops Island with occasional trips to Navy Yard or Quantico; up to about 5 trips per year.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
• Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements with traceability.
• Experience with radar or complex defense systems preferred.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interfaces.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and allocate hardware/software.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB
