Job summary

SimVentions in the United States is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar capabilities for the U.S. Navy. This technical role focuses on requirements, verification, and integration across the lifecycle, with travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and other sites.

The position requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance, US citizenship, and 4+ years of applicable experience. You'll work with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tested, traceable system designs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and lifecycle development.
• Experience developing requirements, specifications, and verification with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems, Navy defense systems, or related fields preferred.
• Experience using models/simulations to assess performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning or executing testing and laboratory/integration activities.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and government-facing engineering collaboration.
• Active Secret Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.

Education

BS/BA in STEM field (ABET-engineering preferred)
