Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support radar performance, systems integration, and lifecycle activities for Navy programs. The role requires developing and maintaining system requirements, performing modeling and testing, and coordinating with government engineers. Some travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and Quantico may be required.

An active Secret clearance is required. Minimum BS/BA in a STEM field with ABET-accredited program is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements development, specs management, systems integration and verification.
• Ability to develop and maintain system requirements and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems or Navy combat systems preferred.
• Experience using modeling and simulations to assess performance.
• Experience planning, coordinating or executing system testing.
• Familiarity with MBSE processes and tools.
• Ability to collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specs, and interfaces.
• Support architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification and testing.
• Develop test plans and analyze performance with MATLAB and lab tools.
