Job summary
SimVentions, Inc in Springfield, MO seeks a systems engineer to support Navy radar programs across the lifecycle, focusing on requirements, architecture, verification, modeling, and integration. Travel to test sites will occur as needed. An active Secret clearance is required and U.S.
Citizenship is necessary. Minimum BS in a STEM field and 4+ years' experience are expected; familiarity with MBSE and MATLAB is advantageous.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
- Experience with requirements development, specification management, and design verification.
- Experience with radar systems, sonar/sensor tech, or defense systems preferred.
- Ability to develop and maintain system requirements and baselines with traceability.
- Experience modeling, simulations, and test planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface docs.
- Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and testing.
- Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
