Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer in the Florida area to support Navy radar and sensor programs. The role requires an active Secret clearance and will involve requirements development, system integration, and verification across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with government engineers, perform modeling and MATLAB-based analysis, and travel for testing as needed. A BS/BA in a STEM field is required, and ESOP ownership is part of our benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and related activities.
• Experience with requirements development, specification management, and design verification.
• Familiarity with radar systems or complex defense systems preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain system requirements with traceability.
• Ability to coordinate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
