Job summary

SimVentions seeks a systems engineer to advance SPY-6 radar capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role emphasizes requirements development, traceability, system integration, and performance analysis across the lifecycle. Travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, Navy Yard, and Quantico is expected, up to five trips per year.

The position requires a BS/BA in a STEM field and an active Secret clearance; compensation ranges from six figures plus benefits, with ESOP participation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements development and design verification.
• Experience with radar systems or Navy combat systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of MBSE and system modeling.
• Ability to collaborate with government engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
