Job summary

Parker Hannifin, a global leader in motion and control technologies, is seeking an experienced engineer to guide R&D efforts in Livermore, CA. The role involves directing and administering research and development activities for new product designs, aligning internal teams and suppliers, and ensuring milestones and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or related technical discipline required.
• Highly organized with ability to follow projects through to completion.
• Experience with new product launches and commercialization.
• Background in manufacturing process and design.

Responsibilities

• Direct, administer and execute R&D activities for new product designs.
• Lead special projects from start to finish, meeting goals and budget.
• Communicate with customers, sales/marketing and other teams to resolve technical matters.
• Coordinate with material suppliers on new materials or processes.
• Identify new product and market opportunities through various channels.
• Manage master project plan, milestones and budget targets.
• Serve as primary customer interface for new products and alternative markets.

Education

Bachelor's degree (BS) in mechanical, electrical or related technical discipline
