Job summary

Parker Hannifin's Military Flight Controls Division, based in Irvine, CA, seeks an Engineering Manager, APD to lead New Product Introduction and large internal development projects. You will drive technical direction, set plans, and coordinate cross‑functional teams and external resources to meet performance and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and collaboration with customers and program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or PE; Master’s degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
• 10–12 years of related engineering experience.
• 4+ years of supervisory/management responsibility including project engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the technical effort and defines engineering plans and outcomes for a major engineering team.
• Manages multiple projects and allocates team resources across proposals and programs.
• Acts as CAM for projects using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Interprets requirements, assesses risk, and guides design reviews and technical studies.
• Represents engineering to program management and customers, refining plans as needed.
