Qualifications

• Experience with new product launches and product commercialization.
• Background in manufacturing processes and design.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for special projects development. Accountable from start to completion of project goals, objectives, and budgets to develop new and improved products.
• Responsible for achieving target costs for all components.
• Technical consultant for component and system problems for internal and external customers.
• Communicate with customers, sales/marketing and other divisions to resolve technical matters.
• Coordinate with material suppliers on new materials or processes applicable to new products.
• Identify new products and market opportunities.
• Align internal divisions and outside suppliers to ensure that support for Master timing, test and validation plans, prototype needs and budgetary constraints are met.
• Serve as prime contact for customer interface and status on new products being developed for alternative markets.
• Leads the project team to achieve its chartered purpose and desired outcomes.
• Creates and tracks the master Gantt for the entire program; ensures all deliverables and milestones are met per customer request.
• Creates and tracks the open issues list for the entire program. Hold weekly and biweekly meetings, as necessary.
