Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Supervisor Test Engineering in San Diego to lead the R&D Process Development Lab. You will supervise a team of technicians, manage development builds, and drive DOE and process characterization efforts across multiple programs.

You will ensure lab safety, maintain quality systems, and collaborate with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
• 3+ years in leadership within engineering labs or development environments.
• Experience with process development, characterization, and QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the R&D Process Development Lab and align with product development priorities.
• Manage technicians and lab staff for development builds, studies, equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Plan and execute DOE, process characterization, feasibility studies, and pilot builds for new technology programs.
• Oversee equipment, fixtures, and resources to ensure readiness and reliability for engineering activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in lab efficiency, data quality, and process capability.
• Support audits through documentation, records management, and training compliance.
