Dexcom is seeking a leader for the R&D Process Development Lab in San Diego to drive operations, experimentation, and process optimization for next-generation CGM technologies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field and 6–8 years of industry experience with formal management experience. Candidates should have Lean Six Sigma knowledge and experience in regulated environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or team lead experience in engineering labs, process development, or related environments.
• Experience with process development, manufacturing process characterization, or engineering development activities.
• Familiarity with regulated environments such as medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing industries.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise daily operations of the R&D Process Development Lab.
• Manage a team of technicians and lab staff responsible for development builds and DOE.
• Partner with Process/Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to plan experiments.
• Oversee development equipment and lab resources for readiness and reliability.
• Drive DOE, process characterization, feasibility studies, and pilot builds.
• Establish and maintain lab procedures, training, and documentation per quality systems.
• Lead lab safety initiatives and ensure EH&S compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in lab efficiency, process capability, and data quality.
• Manage budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, and resource planning.
• Support audits through documentation and training compliance.
