Job summary

Dexcom in San Diego seeks a Senior Staff Process Development Engineer to lead product and process development initiatives for applicator, transmitter, and wearable devices, within CER and lab settings.

You will drive technical requirements, partner with R&D and QA, guide test labs and operators, mentor engineers, and push for robust, scalable manufacturing with rigorous data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or higher with significant industry experience.
• Experience in product/process development and transfer to manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis and statistical interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and optimize new manufacturing processes for devices in CER and lab settings.
• Define technical requirements for scaled production (applicator, transmitter, wearable).
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and site personnel to meet objectives with minimal oversight.
• Provide guidance and training to test lab associates, plant operators, and engineers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex manufacturing issues and root-cause analyses.
