Graybar is seeking a Coordinator for the Quotations Department to support pricing, costing, and technical information generation based on customer specifications. You will research product lines and manufacturing capabilities to prepare quotes that drive profit and repeat business.

Responsibilities include preparing material cost estimates, compiling bills of material, consulting with factories for best-cost information, and submitting thorough quotations under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in communicating and negotiating with customers, suppliers, and/or manufacturers
• 4+ years of experience preferred in Sales, negotiations, pricing, and relationship building
• 2 year degree preferred
• Knowledge of SAP programs used to support the Quotations process
• Knowledge of logistics strategies
• Mathematical skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
• Ability to project a positive and professional image on behalf of the Company
• Ability to maintain and grow product knowledge and applications
• Ability to think strategically to create a quote that will result in a sale

• Some travel required

Responsabilités

• Prepare cost estimates of materials for internal and external customers
• Compile bills of material and itemize tools, fixtures, or equipment to be purchased
• Consult with factories to obtain best-cost information and audit bills of material
• Research customer requirements and performance standards before submitting quotations
• Submit accurate technical quotations against tight deadlines
• Support change orders and job lot billing in some branches
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and attend specialized training
