Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the full quotation process, from receipt to quote submission. You will interact with Graybar sales, customer service, customers, and manufacturers to gather details and craft profitable quotes.

You will prepare cost estimates, obtain information, and collaborate with teams to ensure accurate, on-time quotations that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year degree in Business or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and reps to obtain cost information.
• Collaborate with sales reps and customer service reps.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time quotes.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to price differences for complete comparisons.
