Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from request to submitted quote. You’ll interact with Graybar sales and customer service teams, customers, and manufacturer reps to gather data and create competitive quotes.

Required skills include strong customer service, deadline discipline, and proficiency with SAP and Excel. 2+ years of experience and a related degree are preferred; shift is Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm with pay in the $18–$26/hour

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year degree in Business or related preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to price differences for complete comparisons.
