Job summary

APAC Tennessee, Inc. in Mississippi is seeking a Quarry Plant Operator to support crushing, washing, and material handling. The role involves mechanical assistance, cleaning, lubrication, and routine tasks under the plant foreman’s direction.

You must be able to perform strenuous work in varying weather, pass a fitness test, and work nights or weekends as needed. Prior experience preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in laboring roles or similar plant environments preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience acceptable.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aggregate crusher, washer, and surrounding area for safe, efficient operation.
• Perform shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, and mechanical assistance as directed.
• Raise production issues with supervisor or lead person in a timely manner.
• Be able to perform strenuous work in various weather conditions.
• Travel and work away from home when required; nights and weekends when necessary.
• Report to work at designated start times and work overtime when required.
