Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. is hiring a Quarry Plant Operator to support aggregate production. The role involves maintenance of crushers and washers, cleaning, shifting materials, and following foreman directions with minimal supervision on complex tasks.

The position requires ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather, willingness to travel if needed, and flexibility for night or weekend shifts. A HS diploma and related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining aggregate crusher, washer, and surrounding environment for safe, efficient operation.
• Performing laboring tasks: shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, lifting and pushing.
• Communicating production issues to supervisor.
• Willing to work varying shifts, nights, weekends when required.
• Report to work at designated start time and work overtime when needed.
