Job summary

APAC Tennessee, Inc., a CRH Company, seeks a Quarry Plant Operator to support asphalt and concrete operations near Memphis. You will perform laboring tasks under the plant foreman’s direction, including lubrication, shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, and light mechanical work.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math, and willingness to work varied shifts, nights, weekends, and

Qualifications

• One year related experience preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aggregate crusher, washer and surrounding environment for safe operation.
• Shovel, sweep, steam clean, paint, tire work, and provide mechanical assistance.
• Communicate production issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Work in varying weather; travel if required; some nights/weekends.
• Report to start time; overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
