Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to oversee quality, environmental, health, and food safety programs within the plant, ensuring production of high-quality products that meet customer needs.

The role collaborates with production teams to enhance quality, manages data collection and reporting, and leads plant health and safety efforts, driving continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, science, statistics, or engineering.
• Seven (7) years’ experience in corrugated manufacturing operations.
• Five (5) years’ experience with lean tools (root cause analysis, 5 whys, FMEA).
• Experience with food safety and managing food programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality, environmental, health, and safety programs within the plant.
• Support continuous improvement across the plant with action plans.
• Collaborate with production to manage and improve quality and food safety systems.
• Facilitate and maintain EHS programs and trainings; support audits.
• Serve as lead contact with customers for quality and audits.
• Write programs to maintain quality certifications and environmental permits.
• Provide cost of quality and data analyses for improvement.
