Job summary

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor Quality Systems to lead the local Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with FDA and GFSI standards across the facility.

You will own audit programs, document control, and quality data systems while guiding a team and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will drive HACCP, CAPA, and SQF programs, manage supplier and cross-functional collaboration, and oversee the implementation of

Qualifications

• : Bachelor’s degree in quality management or related technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
• Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation, management, and continuous improvement of Quality System Software.
• Understanding of GFSI standards such as SQF or FSSC 22000 and hands-on audits.
• Experience with real-time data collection systems to monitor and analyze production processes.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs and PPE.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety guidelines per Refresco, Customer and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
• Responsible for complying with FDA, state/city regulations, Refresco quality policies, GMPs, HACCP, Allergen, Kosher, etc.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees.
• Have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
• Overall plant owner for quality systems including document control and quality data collection applications.
• Responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance with third-party food safety and quality certification requirements.
• Develop and maintain SQF System and ensure compliance with relevant food safety and quality requirements.
• Audit systems responsibility including internal and external audits.
• Audit and verify with local team to ensure quality systems comply with Refresco guidelines.
• Own quality project documentation such as validation protocols.
• Collaborate to support local site applications for document control and quality data collection systems.
• Work with internal customers to ensure new or revised products are set up in quality data systems.
• Identify opportunities and implement process improvements for local quality systems.
• Drive improvements to quality programs (GMP, pest control, document control, maintenance) as per GFSI and FDA.
• Champion governance and communication of Best Practice for quality systems.
• Provide second level support to Quality Manager.
• Champion local quality systems programs (HACCP, CAPA, GFSI, FDA).
• Revise and update local policies including validation protocols.
