Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. is seeking a Manager of Quality to lead the site quality department and ensure total product and packaging quality, food safety, and GMP compliance.

This role drives CI projects, training, and cost management while aligning with corporate and regulatory standards. You will oversee laboratory operations, process controls, and the SQF program, champion internal audits, and mentor staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety across production.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Food Science, Quality, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in direct Quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• SQF Practitioner certification preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality department to meet KPIs and CI goals and manage costs.
• Direct laboratory, water treatment, sanitation, and QC systems operations.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, CFIA, GMPs, HACCP and other regs.
• Develop, maintain, and improve SQF, food safety and quality plans.
• Lead internal audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage training, performance, and morale of the quality team.
• Coordinate capital planning and project execution related to quality.
• Maintain documentation and records for food safety programs.
