Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC, seeks a Quality Manager with Project Quality responsibilities to ensure ongoing MO quality and project standards. This role wears two hats, aligning operational quality with project-specific requirements.

You will own the local QMS, monitor processes, lead CAPA, and collaborate with procurement to strengthen supplier quality, using Lean Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering or quality management.
• MBA or related master's degree is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead quality teams and drive accountability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal teams and suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with quality data and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the local Quality Management System to align with Siemens global standards and ISO 9001.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, quality gates, and inspections to prevent defects.
• Lead non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
• Collaborate with procurement to strengthen supplier quality and resolve concerns.
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP to identify trends and improve efficiency.
• Develop clear quality reporting and performance reviews for leadership.
• Mentor teams and deliver training to reinforce quality at all stages.
