Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC, seeks a Quality Manager for Mobility Customer Services, responsible for both manufacturing quality and project-specific quality across operations and customer projects.

The role requires a strong quality mindset, ability to drive process improvement, and leadership across teams, suppliers, and customers. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• MBA or master’s in Quality/Engineering Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the local Quality Management System per Siemens standards and ISO 9001.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, gates, and inspections to prevent defects and improve capability.
• Lead non-conformance, root cause analysis, and CAPAs to reduce repeat issues.
• Collaborate with procurement to strengthen supplier quality and resolve concerns before production impact.
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP to identify trends and improve efficiency.
• Develop quality reporting and performance reviews for leadership insights.
• Mentor teams and build quality capability across the facility.
