Job summary

Siemens Energy in Raleigh seeks an experienced Quality Manager in Projects to oversee quality across Substations programs (AIS, GIS and Substation). You will lead audits, drive supplier quality, and ensure conformity with ISO 9001/14001 while guiding continuous improvements across the project lifecycle.

The role partners with Substations PMs and procurement to embed quality into schedules and budgets, delivering executive dashboards on risk and NCC metrics. Up to 40% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Experience with internal and supplier audits and audit methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with quality metrics, dashboards and data-driven decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years in EHS, project quality, risk management or QA processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and plan/monitor quality activities across projects.
• Define and implement quality requirements aligned with project objectives.
• Perform internal and supplier audits and lead corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support NCC life cycle from detection to containment and root cause analysis.
• Provide executive dashboards on risk, NCCs, supplier quality, and tollgate outcomes.
• Design and deliver training on quality management principles and tools.
