Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Manager to support the Quality Manager in Project (QMiP) and Engineer Discipline (ED) by coordinating inspection and quality reviews within the project supply chain. You will interface with local and global SQM teams, Project Procurement, PM and Engineering to ensure quality delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in quality, supplier qualification experience, and SAP MM/QM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Experience in supplier qualification; auditor experience and project management preferred.
• Knowledge of quality methods (5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA) and SAP MM/QM.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Represent Supply Quality in cross-functional meetings with Procurement, PM, Engineering, and Quality Management.
• Drive and improve Supply Quality KPIs in Projects.
• Ensure supplier quality in assigned Projects; implement SQM requirements and act as SQM contact.
• Coordinate supplier qualification, product/process qualification and supplier development.
• Coordinate inspections with cross-functional teams and 3rd party contractors.
• Support maintenance of the Siemens Energy SQM System and track corrective actions.
