Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC is seeking a Quality Inspector III Mobility Customer Services to ensure safety, reliability, and performance in our railcar manufacturing operations. You will lead inspections and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced team setting.

Ideal candidates have a strong eye for detail, 2+ years in quality, experience with metrology tools and ISO 9001:2015, and are willing to travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• 2+ years in quality department operations.
• Experience with Teams, SharePoint, SAP, and Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of document control standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AAR quality standards preferred.
• Knowledge of rolling stock components preferred.
• Proficient with metrology tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Lead non-routine inspections to verify quality and conformance.
• Prepare and approve inspection reports and basic analyses.
• Lead root cause evaluations and drive process improvements.
• Train and guide junior inspectors.
• Coordinate consumables and support equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams with safety focus.
