Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. is seeking a Manager Quality to lead the quality department at our Alabama facility. You will oversee GMPs, food safety, QA processes, and regulatory compliance to ensure top product quality and safety for our beverages.

The role requires directing the QA team, managing laboratories, and driving continuous improvement in line with SQF and customer requirements. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Food Science, Quality or related field.
• Minimum 5 years direct management experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment.
• SQF Practitioner certification preferred.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, HACCP and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with FDA, GFSI and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the site Quality department and ensure product and packaging quality.
• Manage laboratory, water treatment, sanitation, and QA processes.
• Maintain and improve SQF, food safety plans, and quality programs.
• Lead internal audits and drive corrective actions with timely closure.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and corporate standards.
• Develop and manage department budgeting and capital planning.
• Provide training and leadership to QA staff and ensure performance.
