Job summary

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. seeks a Supervisor Quality Systems to lead the local Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with FDA and GFSI standards and managing audits and documentation. You will drive continuous improvement and coordinate quality data programs across the site.

The role reports to the Department Manager and will oversee GMP, HACCP, CAPA initiatives, and coordinate with internal teams to implement new product quality processes and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs and PPE.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and safety guidelines per Refresco, Customer and governing bodies (ex. SQF).
• Comply with FDA, state/city regulations, Refresco quality policies, GMPs, HACCP, Allergen, Kosher, etc.
• Lead and direct the work of other employees.
• Own quality systems including document control and quality data collection applications.
• Support and maintain compliance with third-party food safety and quality certification requirements and continual improvement of the facility’s systems.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve SQF System and ensure compliance with food safety/quality requirements.
• Audit systems including internal and external audits and act as plant owner for audits.
• Audit and verify with local team to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
• Manage documentation such as validation and verification protocols for quality projects.
• Work with internal teams on support for site applications including document control and data collection systems.
• Assist in setting up and implementing new or revised products into quality data systems.
• Identify opportunities and implement process improvements for local quality systems.
• Improve quality system programs (pest control, GMP, document control, maintenance) as per GFSI and FDA.
• Champion governance and communication of Best Practice for quality systems.
• Provide second-level support to Quality Manager for day-to-day operations.
• Champion local quality systems programs (HACCP, CAPA, GFSI, FDA, customer requirements).
• Revise and update local policies including validation protocol development and upkeep.
