Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. seeks a Manager Quality to oversee the site quality department, drive food safety, quality cost control, and compliance with GMPs and FDA guidelines. You’ll lead the QC team, manage lab and process controls, and ensure continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities include SOP maintenance, internal audits, capital project support, and development of robust quality plans to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Food Science, Quality or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of direct management experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment, preferably food/beverage.
• SQF Practitioner certification preferred.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, HACCP plans, food safety and security standards.
• Familiarity with GMPs, FDA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety policies, GMPs and PPE requirements.
• Directly manage the Quality team to achieve KPIs and CI project goals.
• Oversee laboratory, water treatment, syrup blending, sanitation and quality processes.
• Develop, maintain and improve SQF System and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead internal audits and drive continuous improvements and best practices.
• Write, update and maintain SOPs for the Quality Program.
• Understand plant financials and manage costs related to QC activities.
