Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance in manufacturing.
• 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Strong math and data interpretation skills; capable of basic reporting.
• Mentor and develop team members; work well in a team and individually.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to contact for the final inspection team in the absence of the Quality Supervisor.
• Perform detailed inspections on parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Prepare products for shipment with quality and accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions for inspection procedures.
• Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and improving processes.
• Set inspection priorities across shifts and communicate changes.
• Conduct internal QA audits monthly and maintain data records.
• Collaborate with engineering and metrology to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Mentor department personnel and assist in training sessions.
