Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company is seeking a Quality Inspector to program, inspect, and document measurements for precision silicon components. You will apply the Silfex Quality Management System, develop inspection plans, and ensure parts meet tight specifications.

The role involves hands-on use of CMM/VCMM equipment, interpretation of drawings, and collaboration with manufacturing to drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in Quality or machine operation, preferably with silicon/glass.
• Experience programming machines with Zeiss Calypso, WinWerth and View.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply knowledge of Silfex Quality Management System.
• Accurately create inspection plans per engineering requests.
• Inspect parts visually and with measuring tools to meet specs.
• Document measurements BKMs and ensure proper documentation.
• Use proper material handling techniques in daily tasks.
• Support manufacturing with CMM/VCMM programs and continuous improvement.
