Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company seeks a Team Lead for the Quality Inspection department. You will guide inspection priorities, troubleshoot quality issues, and ensure products meet high standards through detailed testing and analysis. You will support cross-shift communication and drive continuous improvement in the quality system.

This hands-on role requires strong technical and analytical skills and mentoring of team members; safety and Lean 5S are emphasized across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 years in Quality Assurance or related manufacturing field with 1 year in leadership.
• Experience reading blueprints and inspection criteria with attention to detail.
• Ability to train and mentor team members and support shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as go-to contact for final inspection team in absence of the Quality Supervisor.
• Perform detailed inspections on parts to ensure specifications.
• Prepare products for shipment with quality and accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Assist in daily QA issue troubleshooting and error-proofing initiatives.
• Set inspection priorities and communicate with all four shifts.
• Conduct internal QA audits monthly.
• Maintain and update operational data; ensure data integrity.
• Support training and writing/updating Operating Procedures.
• Work with engineering on special projects and participate in continuous improvement.
• Follow safety policies and contribute to 5S and Lean initiatives.
