Job summary

Silfex, Inc., a Lam Research Company, seeks a Team Lead for the Quality Inspection department to guide priority setting, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product quality through detailed testing and analysis.

You will support cross-shift communication, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to key initiatives that shape the quality system. This hands-on role requires strong technical and analytical skills and a commitment to safety and Lean practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing QA experience preferred.
• 6 years in QA with 1 year of leadership; Silfex experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedures.
• Strong math and data interpretation skills for QA metrics.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to contact for the final inspection team in the absence of the Quality Supervisor.
• Perform detailed inspections on parts meeting specifications.
• Prepare products for shipment with quality and accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to guide inspection.
• Support daily quality issue troubleshooting and mistake-proofing initiatives.
• Coordinate inspection priorities across shifts when the Supervisor is absent.
• Conduct internal QA audits monthly.
• Maintain and update operational data regularly.
• Ensure inspection data is accurately recorded and resolved data issues.
• Provide feedback to the Quality Supervisor on employee performance.
• Apply Lean concepts and 5S in daily work.
• Develop knowledge of Silfex QMS and Quality Procedures.
• Assist in training department personnel.
• Work with engineering and metrology to address machine issues.
• Carry out special projects as assigned.
