Job summary

Silfex in Springfield, OH, a Lam Research Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production teams and drive Lean & Six Sigma improvements. You will coach staff, allocate resources, and partner with engineering, quality and maintenance to meet safety, quality and delivery targets.

Responsibilities include scheduling, workload organization, developing team capabilities, and implementing continuous improvement while maintaining cost efficiency in a high-precision manufacturing

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in a related field with manufacturing experience.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and 1–3 years supervising teams.
• Experience applying Lean tools to drive long-term value.
• Ability to interpret instructions, drawings and specifications for safety and quality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; experience with CNC software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set goals for team performance aligned to department metrics.
• Organize and delegate workload to meet daily output targets.
• Develop understanding of workflows and support Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and maintenance to reduce scrap and downtime.
• Coach staff, provide feedback, and drive standard work; conduct audits and training.
• Monitor safety, quality, delivery and cost performance and report metrics.
