Job summary

Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

Serve as go-to contact for final inspection team in absence of the Quality Supervisor.
Perform detailed inspections on parts to ensure specifications.
Prepare products for shipment with quality and accuracy.
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to guide inspection procedures.
Assist in day-to-day quality issue troubleshooting and mistake-proofing initiatives.
In absence of supervisor, set inspection priorities and coordinate with all shifts.
Conduct internal QA audits monthly and maintain data records.
Support Lean manufacturing concepts and 5S in the inspection area.
