Innova Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for a 12-month, full-time contract in Palm Bay, FL (2nd shift). The role involves inspecting, testing, auditing and ensuring purchased parts and assemblies meet all specifications.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent (or an Associate degree) with relevant experience, and an active Secret security clearance; W-2 employment only.

Qualifications

• Inspect, test, and audit purchased parts and assemblies to specifications.
• Interpret drawings, diagrams, specs to accept or reject units.
• Rework defective units or systems.
• Maintain support docs and perform sampling/test of incoming components.
• Review and report performance data.
• Ensure materials and finished products meet standards.
• Determine methods for inspection.
• Interface with customer quality reps or suppliers.
• 2nd shift role requiring active Secret clearance.

Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector Position Type: Full-Time Contract, Contract to hire Duration: 12 months Location: Palm Bay, FL 32905

• Responsible for performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.
• Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
• Reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.
• Reviews and reports performance data.
• Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards.
• Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.
• May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.
• Role is for 2nd shift Quality Control Inspector.
• This Position Needs Active Secret Security clearance.

Ideal candidate will have High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $28-$30 per hour *

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
