Innova Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for a 12-month full-time contract to hire in Palm Bay, FL. The role involves inspecting, testing and auditing parts, assemblies and materials to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (or an Associate's Degree) with relevant experience and must have an active Secret security clearance. The position operates on the 2nd shift with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates with 2 years relevant experience.
• Active Secret Security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies to specifications.
• Interpret manufacturing drawings and diagrams to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems.
• Rework defective or malfunctioning units; maintain documentation; sample and test incoming components and materials.
• Review and report performance data; ensure materials and finished products meet standards.
• Determine methods and procedures for inspection; interface with customers or suppliers if needed.

Job Description

Position Type: Full-Time Contract, Contract to hire

Duration: 12 months

Location: Palm Bay, FL 32905

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

• Responsible for performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.
• Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
• Reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.
• Reviews and reports performance data. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards.
• Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.
• May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.
• Role is for 2nd shift Quality Control Inspector.
• This Position Needs Active Secret Security clearance.

Ideal candidate will have

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $28-$30 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
